Circle Green Community Legal is officially open for business and ready to provide legal help in the areas of employment, tenancy, migration and family & domestic violence.

The launch of this new state-wide service is the result of the sustainability work undertaken by our sector, especially the Employment Law Centre of WA, Tenancy WA and The Humanitarian Group who have successfully merged to create this new entity.   Supported by Community Legal WA, this merger of three specialist community legal centres has allowed Circle Green to create a wrap around legal service for clients to assist with complex legal problems.

The Circle Green Community Legal team is committed to not only continuing the important work that each group has been doing individually until now, but to significantly improve the breadth, providing holistic, wrap-around models of our services. Circle Green Community Legal aims to create a system, place and space to ensure a safety net of world-class legal advice, education and advocacy in our specialist fields.

The staff and supporters of Circle Green were please to formally launch their new service at Parliament House in an event co-hosted by the Labor Member for Mirrabooka, Janine Freeman and the Liberal Member for Cottesloe, Dr David Honey.

Attended by Members of Parliament from across the political spectrum, MPs acknowledged the importance of community legal centres in providing essential legal help to the people living in their electorates.
