Our work

We are the peak organisation representing and supporting community legal centres operating in WA.

Community Legal WA is the public face of the Community Legal Centres Association (WA) Inc ("the Association"). Our membership are members of the Association, where we conduct our our business via general meetings of members, an Executive Committee elected by the membership and various sub-committees and working parties.

In 2017 Corina Martin, the CEO of Aboriginal Family Law Services released, on our behalf, our formal Statement of Commitment to Reconciliation. Click here to read the statement.

We commissioned Danika Eades to produce a piece of art to complement the words in the Statement. Danika has titled her work Moordidjabiny – “Becoming Stronger" (see left).

Our key role is to provide services and support to our members (detailed below).

Staff and volunteers working at our member community legal centres can access additional resources, training, networks, and events information in the Members Area.
