Chief Executive Officer Chelsea McKinney Chelsea joined Community Legal WA in May 2021 as our new Chief Executive Officer. Chelsea brings to the role a passion for social justice and a decade’s experience in peak bodies leading sector development, member representation and advocacy, focused on a strong and sustainable community sector and policy reform. Through her background in front line service delivery across youth work, disability and family and domestic violence, and working closely with members to understand their needs and concerns, Chelsea has successfully ensured systems issues like commissioning and social policy are grounded in the realities of service provision. Chelsea believes in the power of working together to address systemic problems, so that we can all access the resources and services essential to enable our basic needs and human rights to be met.
