We welcome the Attorney General's announcement that the Fines, Penalties and Infringement Notices Enforcement Amendment Bill 2019 will be introduced to Parliament tomorrow. 

When passed, this bill will ensure WA is no longer the only remaining state to imprison people in hardship for unpaid fines. 

Just last week we met with Members of Parliament, across all political parties, to inform and build support to reform our fine default system with our colleagues from Social Reinvestment WA who have been leading the charge for reform.
